BRUNDYN+ is a contemporary fine art gallery based in Cape Town, South Africa. Founded in 2006, the gallery has continued to grow, rapidly earning a reputation as a port of call for collectors and curators seeking visionary and historically significant South African contemporary art talent. A major step forward came in 2013 when BRUNDYN+ relocated to its current premises, expanding the gallery’s facilities to an international level.
While BRUNDYN+’s focus is rooted in developing quality contemporary South African career artists, the gallery maintains a view towards sustainable presence and discourse with the broader African continent and the global African diaspora. In working to achieve this goal, the gallery regularly takes part in major local and international art fairs and artists in the gallery’s stable are often included in exhibitions and established private and public collections the world over. The gallery complements a strong schedule of solo and group exhibitions by publishing accompanying catalogues complete with high resolution full-colour reproductions and insightful, informed texts.
BRUNDYN+ has carved out a niche for itself as a world class cultural voice in South Africa and is home to some of the country’s most regarded and relevant contemporary artists.
